I like buying big huge boxes of all-purpose screws to have on hand. There are certain types I use again and again so I just buy the big honkin' box so I won't run out so fast. Well, that means I have quite a few boxes of screws and I just don't think the descriptions on the boxes are very good so I came up with my own way to be able to see at a glance what's in each box even when they're stacked on the shelf:
As soon as I open the box, I tape one screw or nail to the outside of the box. It makes it quick and easy to find what I need later.
Do you have any tips for hardware organization?
Thank you for reading,
Julie
